What is Creao AI?

Creao AI (creao.ai, also written CREAO) is a hosted AI agent platform for people who do not code. You chat with its agent, which can search the web, generate files, call your connected apps and run code in its own sandbox. When a session produces the result you wanted, you save it as an agent: a reusable workflow with inputs you fill in each time. Agents can be shared through an install link, versioned, and run by hand, on a schedule or through an API.

The company was founded in 2024, launched in September 2025 as a vibe-coding tool and rebuilt the product around agents by December 2025, according to VentureBeat. It announced a $10 million funding round in April 2026 and claims 200,000 users. It is not CrewAI, the open-source developer framework, and it is not Creatio, the CRM vendor, which search results for Creao often surface.

It is built from Creao’s pricing page, documentation, changelog and terms of service, checked on October 1, 2026, and from public feedback on Product Hunt and independent blog reviews. What can Creao AI agents do?

Agents you build by talking

There is no workflow canvas. You chat with Creao until a run does what you wanted, then click “Create Agent” to save it with defined inputs, version history and a shareable install link.

Works inside your real accounts

Creao’s docs name 34 connectors, including Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack, Notion, Shopify and GitHub, which Creao says connect by one-click sign-in. The free plan allows one personal connector per agent.

Video, images and voice in one flow

The same workflow can generate video through Google Veo or Seedance, images through Seedream, and voiceovers from 20+ voices. Creao does not publish a credit price per render.

Drives an actual browser

For sites with no integration, agents use a hosted browser. You sign in yourself rather than handing over passwords. Browser runs stop automatically after 15 minutes.

Runs on a schedule

Agents can run daily, weekly, monthly or on a custom cron, with an optional email summary of each run. Scheduled runs require the Pro Plus plan or higher.

Approval before risky actions

In chat, “Ask first” mode pauses the agent before sending, posting or deleting until you approve. The default is “Auto”, which does not pause, so switch modes before an agent touches email.

Where it falls short

What users say: the only public rating we could confirm for Creao is 4.5 out of 5 on Product Hunt from 13 reviews, written in September and October 2025 about an earlier version of the product. An independent reviewer at VirtualUncle wrote that 200 credits “runs out fast if you’re doing anything beyond basic queries.”

Try it if this sounds like your week

You run marketing, a store, or a small team, and part of your week is the same job on repeat: sorting requests, batching content, pulling numbers into spreadsheets, checking competitor pages. Creao AI fits when that job needs judgment and lives in Gmail, Sheets or Slack. Start on the free plan, and plan on Pro Plus at $50 if the agent has to run on its own.

Skip it if

You only need a chatbot for the occasional question. Same if your automation has to be deterministic and audited, like payroll or anything regulated: agents are probabilistic, and a rule-based tool is the safer choice. Is the Creao AI free plan usable?

Yes. The Creao AI free plan includes 30 one-time credits plus 5 daily bonus credits, with no credit card. It is limited to the Lite model tier, one video generation, PDFs up to 10 pages and one personal connector per agent, and it cannot run schedules. That is enough to see whether Creao can do a task before you pay.

How is Creao AI different from ChatGPT?

Creao AI is built to turn a finished chat into a repeatable agent. A run that works can be saved with defined inputs, connected to apps such as Gmail, Google Sheets and Slack, and run again by hand or on a schedule. A general chatbot answers the question in front of it and starts fresh the next time. ChatGPT’s own agent, ChatGPT Work, can also run scheduled tasks; Creao’s difference is the save-as-agent step, with defined inputs and shareable install links.

Do you need to code to use Creao AI?

No. Creao AI agents are created from a chat conversation, with no builder canvas and no code. Developers can go further with custom skills, API triggers and a developer API, but those are optional.

Does the $20 Creao AI Pro plan include scheduled runs?

No. Creao’s documentation states that scheduled runs require Pro Plus, at $50 a month, or higher. On Free or Pro you can save a schedule, but it does not execute until you upgrade.

What uses the most Creao AI credits?

Model choice is the biggest factor Creao documents. Economy models use about 0.1 to 1 credit per message, standard models about 1 to 6, and premium models about 5 to 40. Creao does not publish credit costs for video, image or audio generation; each finished video shows the credits it used.

Can you cancel Creao AI anytime?

Creao’s terms of service let you terminate your account at any time, from account settings or by written notice, with any outstanding fees due on termination. We could not confirm how cancelling a subscription works in practice. The terms contain no refund clause, and Creao blocks switching from a yearly plan to a monthly plan mid-cycle, so start on monthly billing until you know the plan fits.
