Creao AI Review · 7 days of real work · August 2026

I gave an AI agent my worst job. It didn't give it back.

For one week I made Creao's agents do the work I usually complain about. Inbox triage. Ad variants. Competitor price checks. This is what held up, what broke, and whether the $20 plan earns its keep.

No credit card. My first agent took 25 minutes to build.

One line: the closest thing to a junior operator who works nights. Budget one evening to train it.

How the test went

The Tuesday night that sold me

Tuesday, 11:40pm. I'm sorting quote requests out of my inbox by hand, again, and copying budgets into a spreadsheet, again. The kind of work that isn't hard. It's just always there.

So I opened Creao and typed a brief like I'd write for a freelancer: read every email with "quote" in it, pull the budget and deadline into my Google Sheet, draft a reply in my tone, and don't send anything without asking me first.

Setup took 25 minutes and 3 of my 30 free credits. Wednesday at 9am there were nine drafts waiting. Seven were good enough to send with one small edit. Two were wrong in ways that took ten seconds to fix. That ratio held all week.

That's the whole pitch, honestly. Creao AI is an agent platform: you describe a recurring job in plain English and it becomes a worker that runs on your schedule, inside your real accounts, using frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and MiniMax under the hood. Creao's homepage claims teams of ten save around 200 hours a month. I can't audit their number. Mine: the inbox agent gave me back about 40 minutes a day, and an ad-variant agent turned a two-hour Friday chore into a fifteen-minute review.

What it does

Six things that mattered in testing

Agents you build by talking

Describe the job once, in plain English. "Watch this inbox, log every quote request to a Sheet, draft replies in my tone." That sentence becomes an agent you can re-run forever.

Works inside your real accounts

Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack, GitHub and about thirty others connect over OAuth. The output lands where you work. No copy-pasting out of a chat window.

Video, images and voice in one flow

The workflow that writes your copy can also render video through Google Veo or Seedance, generate product shots, and voice them in 20+ languages.

Drives an actual browser

Mine filled out a supplier form and pulled prices off twelve product pages while I made coffee. Forms, logins, live data. Things a chatbot can't touch.

Runs while you sleep

Set a schedule and walk away. My inbox agent fires at 7am and 1pm every day. It has never once called in sick.

A hand brake on everything risky

Sending an email, publishing a post: the agent stops and asks first. You get the speed without waking up to something embarrassing.

The honest part

What I'd tell a friend

Where it won me over

  • Finishes tasks instead of drafting them. Output lands in your Sheet or inbox, done.
  • Connects to tools you already pay for: Gmail, Sheets, Slack, GitHub, ~30 more.
  • The free plan is a real test drive. 30 credits, no card, no sales call.
  • Approval gates mean it can't send anything without your OK.
  • Output tracks your tone better each week. Mine stopped sounding like a press release by day three.
  • Video, image and voice generation live inside the same workflow as your copy.

Where it annoyed me

  • Credit math is fuzzy at first. I only learned my inbox agent costs 3 credits per run by running it.
  • It's young. When you get stuck, there are fewer templates and forum answers than Zapier or Make.
  • Complex agents took me two or three rebuilds before they behaved. Budget an evening.
  • Video generation drinks credits. The $20 plan is not a video plan.

Buy it, or skip it?

Buy it if this sounds like your week

You run marketing, a store, or a small team, and somewhere between four and ten hours of your week is work a patient intern could do: sorting requests, batching content, pulling numbers into spreadsheets, checking competitor pages. Describe those hours to Creao and most of them come back. The $20 plan pays for itself the first week it saves you two hours.

Skip it if

You only need a chatbot for the occasional question. Free ChatGPT already covers that. Same if your automation has to be deterministic and audited, like payroll or anything regulated. Agents are probabilistic. They belong where a mistake costs a ten-second fix, not a fine.

Questions I had, answered

Is the free plan actually usable?

Yes. 30 credits, no card. My first agent cost 3 credits per run, so that's roughly ten runs of a real working agent. Enough to know if this fits your week before you pay a dollar.

How is this different from ChatGPT?

ChatGPT answers when you show up and ask. Creao works when you're not there. It logs into your Gmail, runs at 7am on a schedule, fills browser forms, and delivers finished output instead of a draft you still have to do something with.

Do I need to code?

No. Every agent I built, I built by typing sentences. If you can write a decent brief for a freelancer, you can build an agent. Developers can go deeper with API connections, but I never needed to.

What burns credits fastest?

Video, by a wide margin. Text agents are cheap: mine ran a full week of twice-daily inbox triage on under 50 credits. Generate video clips weekly and you'll want Pro Plus.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Month to month, cancel from account settings. Annual billing knocks about 20% off if you decide it's a keeper.

Final verdict

4.6/5

Creao is the first agent tool I kept using after the review was done. The first week asks something of you: a trained hand, a couple of rebuilt agents, some credit math. After that it just runs. If your week has four hours of work an intern could do, the free plan will pay you to find out.
