What is the difference between Creao AI and Manus?

Creao AI and Manus are both autonomous AI agents that plan and carry out multi-step work, but they are built around different outcomes. Manus is built around the single task. You give it a goal, such as researching a market or building a slide deck, it does the work and hands back a result. Creao AI is built around the repeat. It does the same kind of autonomous work in a chat, then lets you save a successful session as a reusable agent with defined inputs, version history and a shareable install link, connected to the apps where your work lives. Creao’s own summary of the difference is fair: “Manus is strong on autonomous execution for bespoke goals. CREAO runs autonomous work the same way — and turns the successful runs into agents that keep going.” In practice the question is whether you will ask for this result once, or every Monday.

How do Creao AI and Manus prices compare?

Creao AI and Manus share a $20 starting price, and the similarity ends there. Creao AI’s Pro plan includes 200 credits a month; Manus’s Pro plan starts at 4,000. The numbers cannot be compared directly, because each vendor defines a credit differently and neither publishes a cost per task. Creao gives ranges per message by model tier, from about 0.1 credits on economy models to as many as 40 on premium ones. Manus’s help center explains its credit rules but lists no per-task price, and credits running out unexpectedly is a recurring complaint in its Trustpilot reviews. The practical difference is in what each plan unlocks. Manus Pro includes 20 scheduled and 20 concurrent tasks at $20. Creao AI adds scheduled runs only at Pro Plus, $50 a month or $40 billed annually. On annual billing Creao takes 20% off and Manus 17%. Manus’s monthly credits do not roll over; we could not find a rollover statement from Creao.

Can Manus run scheduled tasks? Creao says no. Manus’s docs say yes.

Manus can run scheduled tasks on both its Free and Pro plans, according to its own help center: two scheduled tasks on Free and 20 on Pro. This matters because Creao’s comparison page tells readers the opposite. Under “What runs on schedule?” it answers for Manus: “Nothing. Scheduling isn’t part of the core product.” As of October 1, 2026 that claim does not match Manus’s published plan details, and we would not rely on it.

The comparison actually runs the other way on price. Scheduling is included in Manus’s free plan and starts at $50 a month on Creao AI, or $40 billed annually. Creao documents its scheduling in detail: schedules can be daily, weekly, monthly or a custom cron, each run can email a summary, and when credits run out the schedule pauses after two skipped runs instead of failing silently.

Which has the better free plan?

Manus has the better free plan for most people. It refreshes 300 credits every day, runs one task at a time, allows two scheduled tasks and is limited to the Manus Lite model in agent mode. Manus caps free daily-refresh credits at 1,500 a month. Creao AI’s free plan is a one-time grant of 30 credits plus 5 bonus credits a day, with the Lite model tier only, one video generation, PDFs up to 10 pages and one personal connector per agent. Creao’s free plan needs no credit card; Manus’s help center does not say. The difference in design is telling: Manus’s free tier is built for regular small jobs within a monthly cap, while Creao’s is a trial meant to show you the chat-to-agent loop before you pay.

Which connects to more of your tools?

Both Creao AI and Manus connect to your existing accounts, and neither is a clear winner on what the two companies publish. Creao’s documentation names 34 connectors, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Sheets, Docs and Drive, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Notion, Linear, Asana, GitHub, Shopify, QuickBooks, Meta Ads and Google Ads, which Creao says connect by one-click sign-in. Manus’s documentation lists connectors including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Stripe and GitHub, but gives no total. For sites without an integration, Creao agents can drive a hosted browser; runs stop automatically after 15 minutes. On Creao, paid plans can combine several personal connectors in one agent, while the free plan allows one.

Creao also documents an approval control worth knowing about. In chat, “Ask first” mode pauses the agent before write actions until you approve them; in runs started by API, CLI or Slack it blocks those actions instead. The default, though, is “Auto” mode, where write actions execute immediately, so switch modes before you let an agent send email. That caution is mainstream: in a Stack Overflow pulse survey published in May 2026, 63% of technologists said they rarely or never let agents run entirely on autopilot.

How stable are the two companies?

Both Creao AI and Manus are young companies, and each carries a different kind of risk. Creao AI was founded in 2024, launched in September 2025 as a vibe-coding tool and rebuilt the product around agents by December 2025, according to VentureBeat. It announced a $10 million round in April 2026, bringing total funding to $25 million according to its press release, and claimed 200,000 users. Its terms of service name a Hong Kong entity, Creao AI Limited, and its data is stored in the United States. Manus spent late 2025 and early 2026 as an acquisition target: Meta’s deal, reported at roughly $2 billion to $3 billion, was prohibited by China’s NDRC in April 2026, and we could not confirm Manus’s ownership status since. A product that pivoted once and a product whose ownership is unsettled are both reasons to keep your work exportable and to prefer monthly billing at first.

What do users say about Creao AI and Manus?

Neither tool has a strong public review record. Manus has volume but poor scores: 1.2 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 209 reviews, where the recurring complaints are AI-bot customer support and credits that drain faster than expected. Creao AI has almost no independent record: 4.5 out of 5 on Product Hunt from 13 reviews, all written in September and October 2025 about the earlier app-builder product, and no Trustpilot profile at all. Independent blog reviews of the current Creao product praise the browser-based, no-setup experience and criticize credit burn; one reviewer wrote that 200 credits “runs out fast if you’re doing anything beyond basic queries.” Read low Trustpilot scores with care, since unhappy customers post there far more often than satisfied ones, but take the specific complaints seriously and test on the free plans before paying either company.

Verdict: should you choose Creao AI or Manus?

• Choose Manus if most of your tasks are one-offs (research, reports, slides, a quick website), if you want a free tier that refreshes daily, or if you need scheduling for $20 or less.
• Choose Creao AI if the same job comes back every week and touches your own accounts: inbox triage into a spreadsheet, a recurring report, content batched and posted. The chat-to-agent step is what you are paying for, and Pro Plus at $50 is the realistic tier.
