InVideo AI Pricing in 2026: Plans, Credits and Why Your Price May Differ

Short answer

InVideo AI costs $20 a month for Starter (400 credits), $60 for Plus (2,000 credits) and $150 for Max (5,000 credits), per seat, on the US pricing page. Annual billing drops Plus to $50 and Max to about $100 a month. A limited free plan exists. Prices can differ by location: the same page showed $9, $30 and $80 plans from Vietnam.

How we researched this

This is a research guide, not a hands-on test. Prices and rules come from InVideo’s pricing page, help center and terms, checked on October 1, 2026. We read the pricing page twice that day: through a US connection and from Vietnam, because the two connections returned different price lists. Cost-per-credit and cost-per-clip figures are our arithmetic on InVideo’s published numbers. We earn a commission if you buy InVideo through our link.

How much does InVideo AI cost in the US?

InVideo AI is a prompt-to-video platform: an AI agent plans the shots, generates clips with third-party video models and assembles them, and a browser-based editor lets you finish by hand. It is sold per seat on monthly credits. The current US lineup has three plans.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing (per month)Credits per monthSeatsAI access
Starter$20$20 (no discount)400Up to 5, no guest seatsAgent Two Lite only; Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini only
Plus$60$502,000Up to 10, plus 10 free guest seatsLite, Pro and Ultra agent modes; Seedance 2.5 at 1080p
Max$150About $1005,000 (10,000 and 15,000 options)Up to 20, plus 20 free guest seatsSame model access as Plus
InVideo AI plans as shown to a US visitor on invideo.io/pricing, checked October 1, 2026. Prices are per seat.

Two details are easy to miss. Starter costs the same on monthly and annual billing, so there is no reason to commit to a year on that tier. And InVideo’s own page shows two figures for Max on annual billing, $100 on the plan card and $101 in the comparison table, so check the checkout total. For larger teams, the business tab lists Team at $79 a seat a month with 1,600 credits and Scale at $215 a seat a month with 4,000 credits on monthly billing, for 5 to 30 seats, plus custom Enterprise pricing.

Why do you see different InVideo prices?

InVideo AI showed different plans and prices to a US and a Vietnamese connection on the same day. On October 1, 2026 we loaded invideo.io/pricing from Vietnam and got a different lineup, with different plan names and lower prices than the US one. The page’s own data points to country-based tiers, but InVideo does not explain them publicly, and we do not know which countries fall into which group.

PlanMonthly billingAnnual billing (per month)Credits per month
Basic$9$9190
Pro$30$251,000
Ultra$80$603,000

Location is only half the confusion. InVideo has also replaced its plan lineup more than once in 2026, and old numbers are still everywhere:

  • Until early September 2026: Plus $20, Max $100, Generative $200 and Elite $1,000 a month. InVideo’s own FAQ page, dated July 27, 2026, still describes this lineup.
  • In the iOS app: the in-app purchase list still uses the names Plus, Max and Generative at different prices.
  • In older reviews: Plus at $25 or $28 and Max at $50 or $60 with “AI minutes.” Those plans no longer appear on invideo.io.

Credit counts in old reviews are not comparable

InVideo has rescaled its credit unit by a factor of ten. A review that says a plan includes 75 credits, or that a video cost 80 credits, is describing a different unit from the one on today’s pricing page.

What does an InVideo AI credit buy?

InVideo AI credits pay for generation, not for editing or downloading. InVideo says credits “are used for video creation, generative models and across other features, not for downloading content,” and that manual timeline editing and exporting consume none. Each model has its own rate. The pricing page publishes these examples:

Credit rates and what each plan’s monthly allowance covers, from the comparison table on invideo.io/pricing (US), checked October 1, 2026.

Other models are priced on their own scales. InVideo’s video model pricing page lists Veo 3.1 at 32 to 192 credits per clip, depending on resolution and a length of four to eight seconds, and Kling 3.0 at about 10 to 252 credits per clip. At the top of that range, a single 4K Veo 3.1 clip costs 192 credits, about a tenth of the Plus plan’s monthly allowance.

What does a finished InVideo AI video really cost?

A finished InVideo AI video costs more than the per-clip rate suggests, because not every generation is usable. Start with the price of a credit: $0.05 on Starter and $0.03 on Plus and Max with monthly billing, by our arithmetic. A five-second Seedance 2.0 Fast clip at 30 credits therefore costs about $1.50 on Starter and $0.90 on Plus. A 60-second video built from twelve such clips would use 360 credits, about $18 on Starter, if every clip worked the first time. InVideo’s own FAQ says that is not typical: usable shots average three generations each. Budget on that basis and the same video needs around 1,080 credits, more than two months of Starter. The agent’s planning steps are billed too, since a response “can include both processing your request and producing media.”

Three documented behaviors make spending hard to track. By default the agent is set to “Always allow,” so it generates without asking first. InVideo’s own FAQ concedes: “There’s no real-time credit counter in the interface.” And the pricing page reserves the right to “update credit costs at any time, without prior notice.” Credits running out faster than expected is a recurring complaint in InVideo’s recent Trustpilot reviews, where the invideo AI profile scores 3.0 out of 5 from 892 reviews.

Before your first paid generation

Change the agent’s permission setting so it asks before generating, draft with the cheapest model, and switch to a premium model only for final shots. Refunds are void once you have used any credits.

Is InVideo AI free to use?

InVideo AI has a free plan, but it is not shown on the pricing page. InVideo’s help center says you can use invideo AI “for free without entering your card details,” that the free plan “gives you limited credits to explore the platform,” and that the quota resets weekly on Monday at 12 a.m. UTC. It does not publish how many credits that is. The figures repeated across the web, such as four exports a week or two video minutes, come from a November 2025 version of the help article; InVideo has since removed those figures. InVideo’s help center also says that once a paid plan lapses to Free, edits to a video need a paid plan to download without a watermark. One part is clearly free. InVideo says: “The manual editor is free for everyone.” Cutting and exporting your own footage in the browser editor uses no credits.

Do InVideo AI credits roll over, and can you buy more?

InVideo AI credits do not roll over. The pricing page states: “Unused credits don’t roll over to the next month.” Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle, which begins on the day you subscribed. If you upgrade mid-cycle, unused credits move to the new plan. If you downgrade or cancel, the account drops to the free plan at the end of the cycle and unused paid credits expire.

When a plan’s credits run out, InVideo offers Extra Credits, an opt-in prepaid balance. You can add $50, $500, $1,000 or a custom amount from $5. Auto-reload is off by default. InVideo’s Extra Credits page says they last 12 months from the purchase date, expire with your subscription and are non-refundable. Its billing overview page, however, says top-up credits reset each billing cycle, so confirm the expiry on the purchase screen. It does not publish how many credits a dollar buys, and says rates can differ between accounts.

What is InVideo’s refund policy?

InVideo’s refund policy is strict. The terms say: “All fees are non-refundable for the billing period purchased.” There is one exception: you can request a refund within seven days of an initial purchase or renewal, provided you have not used any credits or premium features in that period. InVideo’s help center treats a subscription as used if any video or asset has been generated or downloaded. There are no pro-rata refunds for unused time. Plans renew automatically, and after you cancel, access continues until the end of the billing cycle. Purchases made in the iOS app are refunded by Apple, not InVideo. In practice this means the free plan is your trial: test there, because the first paid generation ends your refund right.

Which InVideo AI plan should you pick?

  • You want to try prompt-to-video: the free plan first, then Starter at $20. Expect at most about a minute of generated 720p footage a month before retries, on the Lite agent only.
  • You publish AI video every week: Plus. It is the first tier with the Pro and Ultra agent modes and 1080p Seedance 2.5, and its credits cost 40% less each than Starter’s.
  • You produce at volume or need up to 20 seats: Max, on annual billing if you are sure, since that is where the 33% discount applies.
  • You mostly edit footage you filmed: you may not need a paid InVideo plan at all. Compare it with CapCut in InVideo vs CapCut.

Verdict: is InVideo AI worth the price?

InVideo AI is worth paying for if you need generated footage and are willing to manage credits closely. Plus at $60 a month is the plan built for regular use; Starter is a paid trial. Go in expecting to regenerate shots, set the agent to ask before spending, and treat the seven-day refund as unavailable once you generate anything. If your price page shows different plans from the ones here, that is normal: check your own country’s price before you compare.

Frequently asked questions

Is InVideo AI free?

Yes, InVideo AI has a free plan that needs no card details. InVideo says it gives “limited credits to explore the platform” and that the quota resets weekly on Monday at 12 a.m. UTC, but it publishes no credit number. The free plan is not shown on the pricing page. Manual editing in the InVideo Editor is free.

Do InVideo AI credits roll over?

No. InVideo’s pricing page states that unused credits do not roll over to the next month. Credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. If you upgrade, unused credits carry into the new plan; if you downgrade or cancel, unused paid credits expire when the cycle ends.

Can you get a refund from InVideo?

Only in a narrow case. InVideo’s terms allow a refund request within seven days of an initial purchase or renewal, provided you have not used any credits or premium features in that period. There are no pro-rata refunds, and extra credits are non-refundable. Purchases made in the iOS app are refunded through Apple.

Why do I see different InVideo prices than the ones in this guide?

InVideo’s price list can differ by location, and it has changed its plan lineup several times in 2026. On October 1, 2026 a US visitor saw Starter, Plus and Max at $20, $60 and $150 a month, while a visitor in Vietnam saw Basic, Pro and Ultra at $9, $30 and $80. Always confirm on invideo.io/pricing from your own location.

How many videos can you make on the InVideo Starter plan?

The comparison table on InVideo’s pricing page puts Starter’s 400 credits at about 13 five-second clips on the Seedance 2.0 Fast model at 720p (the plan card says about 15), or about 160 Nano Banana Pro images. That is roughly 65 seconds of generated footage a month before retries. Manual editing and exporting do not use credits.

What happens when you run out of InVideo credits?

Generation stops until credits reset or you add more. InVideo sells Extra Credits as an opt-in, prepaid balance in amounts of $50, $500, $1,000 or a custom amount from $5. Auto-reload is off by default. InVideo’s Extra Credits page says they last 12 months from purchase and are non-refundable, while its billing overview says top-up credits reset each billing cycle, so confirm the expiry on the purchase screen.
